Pat Robertson has lost it

I know all about Voodoo and Catholicism, trust me.  My family linage is from New Orleans.  I have Haitian blood in me too.  What I know, is what the bible says.  That is what I stand on.

Let us not look at this too shallow.  Sometimes God lowers the hedge of protection even when folks haven't "chosen to turn away from His ways".  (This is also biblical truth.)  Ask Job......ask Peter......ask Paul......Ask JESUS.  He does this for His own purposes.  Truely His thoughts are higher than our thoughts and His ways are higher than our ways.

Agreed.  But Doug, it's never punishment and usually (like in all of those cases, brought far more blessings than any curses). 

Were you at the table with HAITI when they made this pact? Were you at the table when the priest made errors when translating the bible? Don't cramp this post about positivity amongst blacks this is BAF!

No I wasn't at the table, nor were you.  What translation errors are speaking of specifically?  I'm always open to learn.  I'm sorry that you feel that I  "cramped" the positivity on this post or this forum or on any forum.  I was adding to a discussion with adults, regardless of race, gender or national origion who at times, will have conflicting opinions.     

I am fully aware that I wasn't at the table i e (1980) but your response indicate as IF you were at the table when all of this information was passed along. Yes, you are able to add to the discussion of adults which is obvious.

I'm not going to argue back and forth with you but think about it like this we all read the bible and are free to interpret it in any way but do WE all know what really is the cause of Haiti destruction. Food for thought: Who is the devil that Haiti made the pact with? With this recent "Artic Blast" I would've thought that Hell was about to freeze over. Could the devil be another country or continent?

He is a religious charlatan in my opinion. 

He made similar statements after 9/11, Katrina and other disasters!!!  I pray that folks will eventually see him for what he really is.  And stop supporting him……………..and a bunch of other television “evangelists”.
